I have always used IFTTT with the google home assistant.
There was an APPLET for HTTP request ....
It still works at my house.
But I created a new account and there is no longer this option of the webhook + Google Assistant

I think, that there are still this services and they are available, but first you need to connect your account with them. Click Exprole, then search for "google assistant" in services that connect your new account whits this service. Make the same steps with "webhooks". Then you can create your own applet using this two services, which are connected with your account.
